It would seem that I am not the only one who believes this country is headed for a heartache. A heartache the likes of which this current generation has never seen, or even imagined.
The world has changed drastically since the year my father was born (1929), and the beginning of the "Great" depression. From the T.V. to the Internet, from jetliners to modern-day cruise liners, from the old telephones to cellular phones and satellites...our world has changed!
Distractions, information-overload and speed of life; these things have all damaged this country. We no longer pay attention to the things that mean the most to AMERICANS. Among these would be, life (family), liberty (choice), and the pursuit of happiness (freedom to engage in a stress-free environment).
What are three essential things that any country must retain, in order to remain a sovereign nation?
1) A strong and secure BORDER! - (Absent, in AMERICA)
2) A strong and functional military! - (Shy in number, strong in will and skill...but weakened by Clinton)
3) A strong and vibrant economy! - (Destroyed by Bush, but the downfall began decades earlier)
There is a forth item...but, in this case it would be redundant to mention it; as we have all seen for nearly thirty-years, the complete lack of true-leadership in this country. Lately, all we have are people collecting paychecks from ...we the people! It is the leadership, or lack-thereof that has brought about this...the coming GREATEST-Depression ever to hit the AMERICAN shores! Lack of planning ahead, or the lack of will...to plan ahead on their part has caused this.
Now, it is up to the AMERICAN people once again, to bring about the change that our forefathers warned of and fought for, during the revolutionary-war. My only hope is...that this change can occur peacefully and without bloodshed.

The production of more "...funny money..." as Lee puts it, is also, something I warned of just yesterday. We cannot print more destruction of AMERICA, it is insane! But...that is exactly what the brain dead traitors in AMERICAN government today, are doing! Mark my words...they ARE...traitors! This is NO accident (our failing economy), it is by design!

AMERICANS used to be SELF-reliant! We used to make our OWN way in the world! We used to furnish our homes through OUR OWN, hard work! When disaster hit (Ie. the Hurricane that hit Galveston, Tx. 1906) AMERICANS stood tall, and made it through on their own (for the most part). Sure, the government helped...but nowhere near the "EXPECTED" scale of today! In 1906, there was not a single soul setting on a bridge waiting for helicopters to rescue them. That is my point! Harsh as it is...it IS true; AMERICANS didn't used to be so pussified that they couldn't make it on their own; no matter the situation. We were tough (like my father)!
Right now...AMERICA needs the tough AMERICAN back! In order for this country to get itself out of this mess...we cannot rely on our "ELECTED" and leader-less Officials, to guide us through this economic horror. THEY are the ones who caused this mess in the first place!
Our economy will fail, our borders will remain open, our military will continue to be weakened by war, our so-called leaders will continue to shove AMERICA into the third-world!...if AMERICANS do not stand-up right this instant, and take AMERICA back!

The U.S. attempt to strengthen the northern border with Canada may actually have a negative consequence. Beginning next year, a Passport will be required for Canadian citizens to enter the U.S. by land (it's already required by air).
Proof of Canadian citizenship is already required to enter the U.S. by land... but the new passport requirement does raise the barrier for some eligible Canadians, mostly because it's a hassle.
The problem with this, is that we like to spend money in America. Canada has a healthy economy right now, and our Canadian dollars translate well into American ones. The majority of Canadians live close to the U.S. border, so we often venture south for vacations or brief trips and spend money there. I wonder what the consequence will be when millions of Canadians have a harder time spending money in your markets?

First, very interesting that our government would hit up on our Canadian neighbors with passports. I guess they are trying to impress the American people. We really could have used its help with the overflow of our Mexican neighbor, of course, years ago. In any case, thank the Lord for our Canadian neighbors....we are going to need your spending input.
Our country is in a mess, for sure, and maybe the big Depression will come. I am still trying to pull myself "out of shock" from this weeks activities. All I can say at this point is, if you don't know you maker you better get acquainted! I cannot imagine continuing in this "drama" without my Lord. Pray for our Country and our military.

More border protection isn't the answer. What we need to do is return to a time of mass immigration.
When people come into this country legally securing the border from bad guys is easy since they are the only ones trying to sneak across it.
Our economy is failing because we have put a big box store and three fast food places every half mile, when we don't have the consumer base to support more than a third of what we already have.
Our infrastructure and education system is failing because we lack the tax base to support it. Simply put we need immigrants by the cargo freighter full, and we need to turn them into good americans.
If they do something wrong once they are here, we have laws to deal with them. Murder, terrorism, treason, sedition so on and so forth can all be tried in public on the level. If we really have a case for it, we can get convictions and even death sentences.
What we don't want is secret tribunals with no respect to human or constitutionally granted rights. Add that to clandestine operations in our own country by intelligence services working outside our laws accountable to no one but themselves and we have the makings of a dictatorship with no regard for the people. This is what we say is wrong with China, Russia, North Korea, Cuba and so many other countries in the world. Why should we tolerate it here?
